Annual Bush
Poetry Festival Weekend
is held in March each year and
hosted the Australian National Championship in 2007. This popular
festival is becoming a signature event for Dunedoo, with written
and performance competitions and is not to be missed.

Dunedoo
is preparing to celebrate the Railway Centenary on the long
weekend October 2010, where a Steam Train is expected to be
arriving and providing short trips for train buffs and community.
It is also thought
this opportunity for a Dunedoo reunion will see the Sydney Male
Choir returning for this occasion as well as a dinner and lots of
stories.
A book of the
history of the town is being compiled by the Dunedoo Historical
Society and Museum, under the watchful eye of local Historian Roy
Cameron of Coolah.

the town Tennis Courts with synthetic surface that is easy on
joints. This has been part funded by Federal Governments
‘Healthy Active Australians’ programme, NSW Sport and
Recreation, Warrumbungle Shire and community
contributions. |

A 40 Gate motocross track just out of town, is of National
standard and can cater for 500 people with hot and cold showers
and flushing toilets and a great place in the bush for a variety

With over 40 voluntary organisations, this town is vibrant and
alive. |
